Shopping on the marketplace

Piessang is a South African Multivendor marketplace where you can shop products from a variety of sellers, all in one place. Review the seller, product description, chosen variant, price, delivery information and return eligibility before purchasing. Sellers are responsible for accurate product details, stock and packed parcel measurements.

Keep marketplace purchases, payments and order support within the Piessang checkout and account workflows so the relevant order and payment can be identified.

Prices and checkout

The complete item and shipping total is shown before you pay. All product prices include VAT. A display-currency preference changes the way prices are shown; checkout card payments are processed in South African rand (ZAR).

Review the current checkout total, selected quantities and delivery address before confirming payment. Availability and applicable discounts are checked during the purchase flow.

Piessang Pro membership

Piessang Pro costs R180 monthly or R1,800 yearly in South African rand, covering one approved store linked to the account owner. Staff share 5 GB (5,120 MiB) of media storage, 50 AI listing generations and 20 AI analytics answers each month, including on yearly plans. One listing generation creates matching short and full description drafts. Scheduled weekly reports use a separate allowance. Unused included monthly credits do not roll over.

When the store’s listing generation balance is empty, the owner can purchase 50 additional listing generations for R49 once-off. There is no automatic recharge. Purchased generations do not expire, carry over between monthly periods and require active Pro access to use. Included monthly generations are used first. Refills do not reset the separate analytics allowance. Payment must be confirmed before credits are added; the invoice is available in Finance → Billing. Refunds or payment disputes can hold or revoke the affected refill’s unused generations. Contact support about billing questions or refunds.

Eligible products rotate through relevant placements labelled Sponsored. Exposure and sales depend on shopper traffic and available offers. Membership does not guarantee sales or a recommended buy-box position. AI outputs are suggestions to review before using; product information remains subject to normal approval rules.

Manage the actual payment, recurring price, renewal and receipts from your membership page. Cancelling renewal preserves access through the paid period. An unpaid renewal has up to three days of grace; new AI credits require confirmed payment. Existing media is retained after expiry, and uploads that increase storage beyond the free allowance are blocked. Contact support about billing disputes or refunds.

Delivery and returns

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout for your items and delivery address and shown before payment.

Product-page delivery dates are estimates. Track shipments from the relevant order.

The platform offers free returns within 14 days of delivery for eligible physical items under the category policy recorded on your order. See the Returns & refunds page for the request and collection process. Problems with wrong, damaged or faulty items can be reported separately.

Your account and support

Keep your account, contact and delivery details accurate, protect your sign-in details and use your own account to view orders or request support. Do not use another person's account or submit misleading product, order or support information.

If something needs attention, sign in and open a support case with the relevant order details.

Privacy and site analytics

Piessang processes account, order and technical usage information to operate, secure and improve the marketplace. When configured, site analytics loads automatically without a separate cookie permission prompt. These terms do not waive your rights under applicable data-protection law. Account message preferences are managed separately.

Selling on Piessang

Registering creates your seller account and gives immediate access to the seller dashboard. Complete your business, dispatch and banking details there. Confirm your email before submitting products or requesting payouts. Products must pass review before publication.
